Frameless sliding doors are a solution for those who value minimalism and a clean wall appearance. The door panel slides along a track mounted above the opening, without a surrounding frame and without built-in wall casing. This makes installation simple, and the door covers an opening, recess or passage without introducing heavy, visible structural elements. It’s a practical way to separate spaces in a modern interior where lightness and space-saving matter.
What frameless means
In classic doors, the frame is a casing set into the wall that surrounds the door panel. In the frameless version we forgo that frame, and the panel is guided on a rail and slides along the wall or under the ceiling. The front remains the only visible element, so the whole looks light and cohesive. Such doors do not require altering the opening, so you can install them even long after a renovation is finished.
Advantages of the frameless solution
Removing the frame simplifies installation and reduces cost compared with a full frame enclosure. The panel slides along the wall, so you don’t need free space for opening like with hinged doors. The minimalist appearance suits modern, Scandinavian and loft interiors, and the calm front doesn’t compete with other furniture. The running system ensures smooth and quiet daily sliding.
Variants available in this category
In this category you’ll find a full selection of finishes. Smooth classic fronts, such as Lores and Arto, work well in minimalist arrangements. Slatted models, like AROMA and PRIMA, add texture and rhythm to the surface. Mirror versions, including Kama, Moza, MONO and RIVI, visually enlarge and brighten the interior.
Mounting and number of panels
You can choose wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted doors depending on whether there is a suitable wall above the opening. You can also choose a single-panel layout for standard openings or a double-panel layout for wide wardrobes and recesses. This allows the frameless solution to fit almost any room layout.
Designing in the 3D configurator
You design every door yourself in the 3D configurator. Start with the board color. Options include white, black, Artisan oak and Golden Craft oak, among other finish variants. We make fronts from 18 mm laminated chipboard, resistant to scratches and everyday use.
Handles and accessories
Choose a handle in white, black, silver, brushed or mirrored finish. You can mount it on the rear side of the door or omit it entirely to emphasize the minimalist character. For added convenience you can add a soft-closing mechanism, and in slatted models you can select the color of the slats placed every 2.5 cm.
Dimensions tailored to the centimeter
Doors are made to measure with 1 cm accuracy. The range of widths and heights depends on the chosen variant, since double-panel layouts cover wider openings and ceiling-mounted versions have a higher lower height range than wall-mounted ones. You can set the exact ranges in the configurator, so before ordering it’s worth measuring the opening and the room height and allowing clearance for coverage.
Where these doors work well
Frameless doors are good for closing wardrobe entrances, separating a bedroom from the living area and enclosing a recess in the living room. In a hallway or laundry room they serve as a neat, lightweight divider. Wherever you don’t want to install a full frame but want order and space-saving, a sliding front is a convenient and aesthetic choice.
