Sliding doors on a rail run along an upper track mounted above the opening. The door leaf hangs on rolling carriages and slides along the wall or beneath the ceiling, without the need for a floor guide. This leaves no track at the threshold to trip over and keeps the bottom of the opening clear. This solution combines everyday convenience with space-saving, as the leaf does not require swing clearance.

How the rail system works

The rail is a top-mounted guide along which carriages with supporting rollers move. This arrangement distributes the door’s weight evenly and allows it to slide with a single hand movement. A running system that dampens vibrations and guides the leaf steadily along its entire length ensures smooth, quiet operation. The absence of a lower guide makes cleaning easier, as dust and dirt do not collect in the floor.

Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted rail installation

You fix the wall-mounted guide to the wall above the opening. This is the simplest installation method, which requires no intervention in the ceiling or floor and also works after renovation is finished.

Ceiling rail

Choose the ceiling version when there is no wall above the opening or when you want to enclose the full height of the room. A cover profile about 8 cm deep conceals the running mechanism, so the top of the door looks neat and minimalist.

Variants available in this category

Our range includes a full selection of designs. Smooth classic fronts, such as Lores and Arto, suit minimalist interiors. Slatted models like AROMA and PRIMA add texture and rhythm to the surface. Mirror versions, including Moza, Kama, MONO and RIVI, visually enlarge and brighten the space.

Number of leaves

A single-leaf configuration closes a standard opening, wardrobe or niche. The double-leaf version covers wider openings, where two panels slide independently on a shared rail. This lets you fit doors to both narrow passageways and extended built-ins.

Designing in the 3D configurator

You design each door yourself in the 3D configurator. Start with the board color. Options include white, black, Oak Artisan and Oak Craft Gold, alongside other finish variants. Fronts are made from 18 mm laminated chipboard, resistant to scratches and everyday use.

Handles and accessories

Choose a handle in white, black, silver, brushed or mirrored finish. You can mount it on the back side of the door or omit it entirely. In slatted models you also select the color of the slats spaced every 2.5 cm. For extra convenience you can add a soft-closing device that closes the leaf gently and quietly.

Dimensions tailored to the centimeter

Doors are made to measure with 1 cm accuracy. The range of widths and heights depends on the chosen variant, as the double-leaf arrangement covers wider openings and ceiling-mounted versions have a higher minimum height than wall-mounted ones. You set the exact ranges in the configurator, so before ordering it’s worth measuring the opening and room height and allowing some margin for coverage.

Where these doors work well

Rail-mounted doors are suitable for closing a wardrobe entrance, separating a bedroom from the living area, and enclosing a niche in the living room. In a hallway or laundry room they serve as a lightweight, neat partition without a floor threshold. Wherever hinged doors would take up too much space, a sliding front on an upper rail is the more practical choice.
